Shinjuku ReNY is a relatively new live house in Tokyo, only 5 or 6 years old, and features a round auditorium built up in a tower on the 2nd floor, as opposed to the pokey rectangular offerings we normally frequent below ground. The venue is spacious and modern and even has some chandeliers hanging from the ceiling for added swish.
An unusual performance from The Micro Head 4Ns saw the audience seated and the band playing both electric and acoustic sets as part of their winter tour finale. I'd previously shot TMH4Ns a few years before with their previous singer, and Nimo I had photographed at a session he had sung in, so I was having trouble trying to get my time frames right while I was shooting. I'll dig those pictures out for Instagram!
